Mission
At Salem United Methodist Church, our mission is to “Proclaim and Live the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”
Salem United Methodist Church is a community of faith that seeks to proclaim and live the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are disciples encouraging one another in our faith journeys and making new disciples of our Lord.
At Salem, you will find a safe and supportive community where you can be yourself and grow in your faith.
There are many active ministries to participate. Or, Salem is a great place to start a new ministry that lets you live out your faith and apply your spiritual gifts.

Vision
Our vision is to be a Christian community on a journey — opening doors for mission and ministry in which:
- ministries for youth and children are provided.
- is sensitive to the needs of the total community (inside and outside the walls) by establishing small groups, which provide the context for evangelism, support, encouragement and transformation. We shall also, reach out to those not part of our membership.
- will help people discover, develop and apply their spiritual gifts in service to others and for the glory of God.
- will be a place where all are on a faith journey; where unbelievers become Believers, and Believers become fully committed followers of Jesus.
